Each promise is a rectangular tactical card with 14×14 corner brackets in all four corners and a sysline-style header row carrying the channel ID (01 to 04), a // PROMISE · TAG signal string, and a LIVE / SEALED status pip. A 40px Lucide icon sits in a bordered tile to the left, title plus body to the right. Low-opacity scanlines overlay the card surface so the whole grid reads as siblings of the four channel cards two sections down, not as floating bezels. The whole section also picks up the page-level sysline strip (PROMISE MANIFEST · 04 / 04 OBLIGATIONS ACTIVE) used in the channels and how-it-gets-there headers. Best when the goal is maximum vocabulary continuity. If you removed the section heading the cards would still look at home next to the channels feed. Estimated +0 KB gzipped JS.

A single console panel rendered as a tail -f of an attestation file. Console chrome at top ($ at attest --promises · SIGNED · 4/4) mirrors the changelog terminal-feed shipped in 3c8d5eb. Each promise is one row: monospace [01] timestamp column, a pipe separator, an OK pill, a TAG, a small glyph at the right; below the line, the headline in display font on its own line and the body in secondary text, both gutter-prefixed with > and ┃. Rows separated by dashed dividers. Meta strip at the bottom (4 PROMISES SIGNED · SHA OK · END OF MANIFEST). Best when the goal is to make this section feel like a sibling of the changelog section the user just shipped. Readers go top-to-bottom, not in a 4-up grid. Tradeoff: it stops being a grid; the rhythm of the page changes. Estimated +0 KB gzipped JS.

Each promise is a sealed attestation plate echoing the pricing vault stack. Sharp-cornered (radius 0) rectangular card with 14×14 corner brackets, a tactical header strip (SEALED · 01 · PRIVACY ATTESTATION · SIGNED), a custom inline-SVG monogram in the centre (shield-disk for 01, ring-of-devices for 02, velocity-caret for 03, balanced-scale for 04, all at stroke-width 1.25 to match SealedQueue/IceProbe line-art), and a // SIG · 7B3F · D2A1 · 9C04 · OK signature footer. The dashed inner ring on the sigil spins very slowly (40s) so the plate breathes without distracting. Best when the goal is to lean into the trust/audit vocabulary already in pricing. The four promises read as the privacy attestations that back the product. Tradeoff: introduces four new custom glyphs, so this is the most opinionated direction visually. Estimated +0 KB gzipped JS.

The save-the-dial option. The circular bezel concept the user liked is kept, just shrunk to 96px and reseated inside a rectangular tactical plate with 14×14 corner brackets in accent colour. A label strip across the top (// 01 · NON-CUSTODIAL · READY) and a readout strip at the bottom (CH 01 · SIG OK · STATE ACTIVE · CHK PASS) frame the dial so it lives inside the page's existing rectangular vocabulary. Tickring still spins (gated on reduced-motion), inner accent ring still glows, but the dial is now a component inside a HUD instead of floating in negative space. Best when the dial reads well on its own but felt orphaned. This keeps the visual asset and gives it a home. Tradeoff: still rounded inside rectangular which some may find visually busy compared to A or C. Estimated +0 KB gzipped JS.
